|*Notes about Promo Codes: For NON-DISCOUNT promo codes (i.e. free items or shipping) please enter them during check out in the Notes/Promo Code field. To enter a DISCOUNT promo code enter it into the corresponding box in the 'Promo/% Off' column and then click 'Update' for the given product. If the code is valid for that product the discount percentage will display in place of the box and the amount will become the discounted total for that product(s). If the code is not valid it will remain in the box, please double check the expiry and spelling, and if you feel the code should still be accepted please contact us.|

Recombinant Human Mucosae-Associated Epithelial Chemokine (CCL28)
|Description||The mucosa-associated epithelial chemokine CCL28 is a common mucosal chemokine which is constitutively expressed by epithelial cells in most mucosal sites. Both CCL28 and CCL25 have recently been shown to be essential for lymphocyte migration to gastrointestinal tissues. CCL28 attracts IgA ASC, but not IgG or IgM ASC, from both intestinal and extraintestinal mucosal tissue, while CCL25 preferentially attracts IgA ASC from the small intestine and its draining lymphoid tissues, as well as alpha-4-beta-7(+) T cells.|
|Molecular Weight||12.0 kDa|
|Endotoxin Level||<1.0 EU/μg of recombinant protein as determined by the LAL method.|
|Purity||>95% as determined by SDS-PAGE|
|Bioactivity||Determined by the ability to chemoattract human lymphocytes using a concentration range of 2-10 ng/mL.|
|Formulation||Recombinant CCL-28 was lyophilized from PBS pH 7.4.|
|Reconstitution||A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers.|
|Storage||Upon reconstitution, this cytokine can be stored in working aliquots at 2° - 8°C for one month, or at -20°C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.|
|Usage||For research use only. Not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.|
· Endotoxin is generally measured in Endotoxin Units per milliliter (EU/mL).
· For recombinant proteins: EU is reported per microgram of protein.
· One EU = 0.1-0.2 ng endotoxin/µg of protein.
· At abm, we do the LAL chromogenic assays that can detect down to 0.01 EU/ml.
