Anti-Rabbit IgG Unlabeled Antibody (Chicken Host)
|Description||Since chicken IgY molecules are quite different from mammalian IgG’s, our secondary antibodies don’t cross react with primary antibodies made in rabbits, mice, or any other mammalian host tested. This makes it simple to performed double immunostaining.|
|Unit quantity||100 μg|
|Specificity||Antibodies were tested for specificity using double-immunodiffusion in agarose. There is no detectable cross-reactivity with goat, human or mouse IgG.|
|Immunogen||Chickens were immunized with purified, non-denatured rabbit IgG (containing both heavy and light chains). Eggs were collected from hyperimmunized hens and the IgY fraction purified from the yolks. Anti-rabbit IgG’s were affinity-purified over a column conjugated with purified rabbit IgG (containing both heavy and light chains).|
