PTEN Stable MEF Cell Line were established via the 3T9 protocol. MEF cells were derived from wild-type mouse with stable expression of PTEN. PTEN (Phosphatase and tensin homolog deleted on chromosome 10) is a tumor suppressor gene and when mutated or deleted have been observed in primary human cancers. The PTEN Stable MEF Cell Line may be used alongside with the PTEN Stable Knockout MEF Cell Line (available at abm; Cat. No. T6179) to study PTEN and it's association with cancer biology and prognosis.
