|Description||Prostatic Specific Acid Phosphatase (PSAP) or PAP, is a prostatic enzyme found in the glandular epithelium of the prostate. In conditions such as hyperplastic prostate and prostate carcinoma, PSAP levels are elevated. Overexpression of PSAP has been associated with diseases of the bone, or blood, or cancers.
