SensiStainTM Anti-TIMP2 Antibody detects for the presence of TIMP2 which has a inhibitory role against matrix metalloproteinases. A critical gene in tissue homeostasis as it has the ability to directly suppress the proliferation of endothelial cells, and quiescent or dormant tissues. Additonally have been found to be associated to diseases such as conjunctivochalasis and lipodermatosclerosis.
