Storage of Adenovirus
At -80°C in 10 mM Tris (pH 8.0) plus 10% glycerol, the recombinant adenoviruses could be stable for several years. Alternatively, viral stock could be stored in 10mM Tris (pH 8.0) plus 4% sucrose for in vivo injection as it is more difficult to do in vivo injection with glycerol formulation. At 4°C, it can be stored for up to 2 weeks without significantly losing its titer.
Large Scale Production
For large-scale production of recombinant adenoviruses, it is recommended to infect 293 cells at 10 MOI, starting from a T25 flask and scale up to 50X T150 flasks. Total cell lysates containing recombinant adenovirus can be purified using either CsCl or filtration protocol. For more information, contact us at
