qPCR AAV Titer Kit
abm’s qPCR AAV Titer Kit is a one-step assay by qPCR which does not require additional lysis, and can be completed under one hour. Designed to deliver high sensitivity and specificity, the kit ensures minimal non-specific background and better overall performance compared to similar kits. ROX reference dye is provided separate from the MasterMix, making this kit universally compatible with most qPCR instruments.
|Unit quantity||100 rxn|
qPCR AAV Titer Kit comes with a separate vial of ROX Reference Dye which can be added depending on the qPCR machine type, as listed in the table below.
Store at -20°C.
How is the virus lysed?
The virus is denatured during the initial heating step of the qPCR (i.e., Enzyme Activation, 95°C).
What samples were used to create the standards in this kit?
Plasmid with partial virus DNA were used to generate the standards.
Which vector elements are amplified and what is the general location of the primers?
The primers target the 3'ITR region.
Is this kit able to detect all AAV serotypes?
Yes, this kit should be able to detect all AAV serotypes. If in doubt, we can also verify for you if you can send us your ITR sequences.
