Supporting Data for Mycoplasma Pro PCR Detection Kit (G239)
abm's Mycoplasma Pro PCR Detection Kit (G239) is sensitive and can detect as low as 10 genome copies. PCR assay with 10-fold serial dilutions of Mycoplasma Positive Control Plasmid shows that our kit can detect as low as 10 copies. Positive internal PCR control (180 bp band) is present in all lanes including NTC and demonstrates functionality of the reaction and absence of false negatives.
abm's modified G239 Pro Primer Mix allows for detection of additional Mycoplasma and Acholeplasma strains. Stringent cycling conditions paired with optimally designed Pro Primers allows for detection of additional species.
abm's Mycoplasma Pro PCR Detection Kit (G239) is compatible with cell culture media. Supernatants of cells grown in common basal media and commonly used sera were tested. PCR assay using Mycoplasma Pro PCR Detection Kit showed no inhibition from media components as the positive internal PCR control (180 bp band) is present in all lanes.
