| Name | Opti-Protein Dual Color Marker | ||||||||||
| Category | DNA & Protein Ladders | ||||||||||
| Description |
This dual color pre-stained protein ladder (10-250 kDa) consists of 11 protein bands, including two red reference bands of ~70 kDa and ~25 kDa, which can be used in monitoring protein separation during electrphoresis, evaluating transfer efficiency in Western Blot experiments, and determining the molecular weight of the target protein. This marker has been pre-mixed with loading buffer, and can be directly loaded into the protein gel well without heating, diluting or adding reducing agent.

| Application |
Western Blot membrane materials compatible with this product include polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), nylon, and nitrocellulose (NC). |
||||||||||
| Storage Condition |
For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20℃ to avoid repeated freeze-thaw and and comtamination. |
||||||||||
| Caution |
1. Contains SDS and is not suitable for non-denaturing PAGE. 2. The mobility of pre-stained proteins may vary in different gel buffer systems. |

| How much of the ladder should I load onto the gel? | |
|
It is recommended to gently mix the ladder by pipetting up and down a few times, then load 5 μl directly into the well of the gel.
