Description

CC CKR1 is encoded by the CCR1 gene, and belongs to the G protein-coupled receptors. It is a receptor for macrophage inflammatory protein-1 alpha/Rantes and CC chemokine monocyte chemoattractant protein-3 (MCP-3). pCEP4 plasmid carrying CC CKR1 was electroporated into L1.2 cells to generate the CC CKR1 Stable Expressing L1.2 Cell Line.

Propagation Requirements

The base medium for this cell line is Prigrow II medium available at abm, Cat. No. TM002. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum (TM999)* to a final concentration of 10%, and Penicillin/Streptomycin Solution (G255) to a final concentration of 1%.
Change media every 2-3 days.
Carbon dioxide (CO2): 5%, Temperature: 37.0°C.
* Do not use heat-inactivated FBS for cell culture unless specified otherwise.

Preservation Protocol1. Freeze Medium: Complete growth medium with 20% FBS and 10% DMSO.
2. Storage Temperature: Liquid nitrogen vapour phase.
