CC chemokine monocyte chemoattractant protein-3 (MCP-3) and Monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) are ligands for MCP-1 receptor (CC CKR2B). pREP9 plasmid carrying CC CKR2B was electroporated into L1.2 cells to generate CC CKR2B Stable Expressing L1.

Propagation Requirements

The base medium for this cell line is Prigrow II medium available at abm, Cat. No. TM002. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum (TM999)* to a final concentration of 10%, and Penicillin/Streptomycin Solution (G255) to a final concentration of 1%.
Change media every 2-3 days.
Carbon dioxide (CO2): 5%, Temperature: 37.0°C.
* Do not use heat-inactivated FBS for cell culture unless specified otherwise.

Preservation Protocol1. Freeze Medium: Complete growth medium with 20% FBS and 10% DMSO.
2. Storage Temperature: Liquid nitrogen vapour phase.
