dCas9 C-Terminal Cloning Vector
| Cat. No. | K014 |
| Name | dCas9 C-Terminal Cloning Vector |
| Unit | 10 µg |
| Description |
Lentiviral vector expressing dCas9 double mutant (D10A, H840A) lacks both nuclease and nickase activity. Guided by a target-specific sgRNA, it binds DNA without cleavage. The vector includes an in-frame downstream multiple cloning site for fusing a protein of interest to the dCas9 C-terminus, along with a C-terminal nuclear localization signal. |
| Applications |
CRISPR gene regulation, epigenetic modfications, live cell imaging. |
| Storage Condition | -20°C or below. |
| Material Citation | If use of this material results in a scientific publication, please cite the material in the following manner: Applied Biological Materials Inc, Cat. No. K014 |

|
| What applications can I use this vector for? | |
|
This cloning vector can be used to fuse an effector protein of choice to the dCas9 protein. For example, dCas9 can be fused to a wide range of activators, repressors, epigenetic enzymes, base editors, fluorescent tags, or chromatin remodelers, making it a versatile platform for gene regulation, epigenetic editing, imaging, and precise genome modification without cleaving DNA.
