Lentivirus expressing dCas9 (D10A and H840A) fused to the KRAB (Krüppel-associated box) domain, which represses gene expression by binding to the promoter region and blocking transcription. By using specific sgRNAs, the dCas9-KRAB can be targeted to a promoter region allowing for repression of almost any gene of interest. |

Yes, this product only expresses the Cas9 or Cas-related protein. We offer genome-wide sgRNA only expressing vectors for CRISPR gene knockout (spCas9 and saCas9) and CRISPR gene activation and repression which are available through the Customize Vector option. Similarly, abm also offers Custom CRISPR Vectors and Viruses, please inquire with us to get started on your CRISPR project.
