Description

abm’s Safe-Red™ is a safe, improved formulation of nucleic acid stain for agarose gel electrophoresis. Safe-Red™ is offered in a convenient, one-step 6X loading dye format that allows for the elimination of toxic Ethidium Bromide and its associated contamination risks with glassware, gel apparatus and environment.

Features:

  • Convenient: 6X Safe-Red™ loading dye is mixed directly with samples and immediately loaded onto an unstained gel. Two inert tracking dyes allow for easy monitoring of gel migration.
  • Easy to Use: Compatible with both UV light and blue light.
  • Safe: Non-carcinogenic.
  • Sensitive: Detect as little as 0.6-1 ng of DNA per gel band with minimal to no background fluorescence.
  • Superior: Compatible with downstream applications such as cloning and sequencing.
