DescriptionStable HEK293 Expressing Mutant ABCC1 4A6 Cell Line is established through stable transfection of the plasmid pcDNA3.1(-)-MRP1/ABCC14A6 to express a polymorphism of the multidrug resistance-associated protein 1 (MRP1/ABCC1). Multidrug resistance if an obstacle in medicine and all patients respond to drugs differently. With this cell line, researchers may use to explore the nature of drug resistance.

abm also offers other ABCC1polymorphisms for comparison studies, such as Mutant ABCC1 15A16 (T6004), and Mutant ABCC1 30A31 (T6005). The Stable HEK293 Expressing Wild Type ABCC1 Cell Line (T6003) is the wild type which is also available.

Propagation Requirements
Use of PriCoatTMT25 Flasks (G299) or Applied Cell Extracellular Matrix (G422) is required for cell adhesion to the culture vessels. Grow cells inECM-coated culture vessels unless otherwise specified in the Propagation Requirements below.
The base medium for this cell line isPrigrow III medium available at abm, Cat. No. TM003. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum (TM999) to a final concentration of 10% and Penicillin/Streptomycin Solution (G255) to a final concentration of 1%. This cell line needs to be cultured in collagen coated flasks.
Carbon dioxide (CO2): 5%, Temperature: 37.0°C.
