Description |
SensiStain™ Anti-Nerve Growth Factor Receptor (NGFR) Antibody is developed and designed for sensitive detection of NGFR, known as p75, P-75NTR or CD271. NGFR is a eurotrophin receptor belonging to the tumor necrosis factor receptor family which is mainly expressed in Schwann and neuronal cells. It has been associated to be present in melanocytes, melanomas, neuroblastomas, pheochromocytomas, neurofibromas, neurotized nevi (type C melanocytes), and other neural crest cell or tumor derivatives. Playing an important role in central and peripheral nervous system development to regulate neuronal growth, migration, differentiation, and cell death - it is a valuable tool to detect the presence and/or absence of NGFR. |
