DescriptionThese particular HeLa cells stably express the NDE1 (NudE Neurodevelopment Protein 1) protein. It is localized at the centrosome and is part of a complex that regulates dynein function. This protein is required for the correct orientation of the mitotic spindle and is heavily involved in microtubule organization and neuronal migration.

High magnifications (400-1000x) are required to observe the GFP-tagged fusion due to the intracellular localization of specific subcellular structures.
