|Description||Luc-Akt-PH/YFP Stable MCF-7/B2 Stable Cell Line express the pleckstrin homology (PH) domain of Akt fused to Renilla luciferase with a YFP-Mem, allowing the ability to monitor the PIP3 production in real time through the established BRET biosensor pair. In which the Luc-Akt-PH will be recruited to the plasma membrane due to PIP3 production which then results in an energy transfer between the luciferase and YFP. The cells are suitable for the screening and study of molecules on the PI3K/Akt pathway for diabetes and cancer-related research. This cell line is the can be used with the Luc-Akt-PH Stable MCF7 Cell Line (available at abm, Cat. T3160) for experimental studies.|

Use of PriCoatTMT25 Flasks (G299) or Applied Cell Extracellular Matrix (G422) is required for cell adhesion to the culture vessels. Grow cells inECM-coated culture vessels unless otherwise specified in the Propagation Requirements below.The base medium for this cell line is Prigrow III medium available at abm, Cat. No. TM003. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum (TM999) to final concentration of 10%, 1 mg/ml geneticin (G271), 200 µg/ml hygromycin B (G265), and Penicillin/Streptomycin Solution (G255) to a final concentration of 1%. Carbon dioxide (CO2): 5%, Temperature: 37.0°C.
