Description	Member of the IL-1 family, IL-37 functions to curb excessive inflammation. In partnership with SMAD3, IL-37 suppresses, or reduces, proinflammatory cytokine production, including IL1A and IL6, as well as CCL12, CSF1, CSF2, CXCL13, IL1B, IL23A and IL1RN, but spares anti-inflammatory cytokines. Out of the five isoforms for IL-37 (a-e), this product represents isoform B that is expressed in testis, colon, placenta, lung and lymph node similar to isoform A and C but is the only one found in kidneys.

	What is the shelf life and storage condition of this product?
	The lyophilized protein is stable for at least one year from date of receipt at -70°C. Upon reconstitution, this cytokine can be stored in working aliquots at 2° - 8°C for one month, or at -20°C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
