Description	Found in the gastrointestinal tract, the three Trefoil proteins, TFF1, 2, and 3 have been shown to play an important role in intestinal mucosal defence and repair. In addition to being expressed by goblet cells and in the uterus, TFF3 has also been shown to express in certain cancers providing a potential use as a molecular marker for those cancers.

	What is the shelf life and storage condition of this product?
	The lyophilized protein is stable for at least one year from date of receipt at -70°C. Upon reconstitution, this cytokine can be stored in working aliquots at 2° - 8°C for one month, or at -20°C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
