Description

The SARS-CoV-2 transmembrane spike glycoprotein (S Protein) forms homotrimers that protrude from the Coronavirus surface and mediates the entry of Coronavirus into host cells.  The S Protein is comprised of two subunits, S1 and S2.  The S2 subunit mediates viral and host membrane fusion.
