MSDS
| Is it possible to propagate the packaging plasmids from this product mix? | |
No, it is not possible to grow up the plasmids from the product.
| What is the concentration of your packaging plasmid mixes? | |
The packaging plasmid mixes are offered at 0.5 µg/µl.
| Do I need a Helper virus to generate AAV particles? | |
No. All of abm's AAV Packaging Mixes can generate AAV particles without the need of a Helper virus.
| What is the maximum AAV cargo size on my Transfer Plasmid? | |
The functional packaging limit is approximately ~4.4 kb excluding ITRs on the Transfer Plasmid. Exceeding this often results in truncated genomes and reduced yield.
| How many AAV can I package using abm's AAV Packaging Mixes? | |
Using 15cm vessels, it is possible to package 3 AAV using abm's AAV Packaging Mixes.
| What cell line should I use for AAV production? | |
We recommend using HEK293T cell line due to its high transfection efficiency and virus yield.
